Meet Layton Swain

Layton Swain, a Brunswick County native, owns Intracoastal Landscape & Construction and The Plant Ranch nursery. With strong local roots and passion for the outdoors, he transforms Carolina landscapes into lasting, healthy environments. Layton combines craftsmanship, horticulture, and farming expertise, backed by multiple degrees from NC State University in Business Management, Small-Scale Farming, Horticultural Science, Turfgrass Management, plus Welding Technology. He designs outdoor living spaces, improves soil, installs turf, builds hardscapes, and supplies regionally adapted plants. Known for clear communication and attention to coastal conditions, Layton is dedicated to enhancing local communities and outdoor living.
